LNDN DRGS releases a visual for their new song “Always,” featuring Larry June

The single,”Always,” appears on LNDN DRGS new album ‘Burnout 4,’ which premiered earlier this week.

The hip-hop duo, LNDN DRGS, who consists of rapper Jay Worthy and producer Sean House, dropped their new project, Burnout 4, earlier this week on December 11th. The visual for “Always,” featuring rapper Larry June, who is a long time collaborator with the duo, came out Friday of last week, sharing a nostalgic track reminiscent of an old school new york hip-hop sound. The visuals match and follow their previous music video, “Burnout4,” which debuted a few days earlier, on December 8th, and features a guest appearance from a fellow rapper, Jim Jones of The Diplomats.

The visuals for both “Burnout 4” and “Always” were both filmed in Brooklyn, New York, and encapsulates the laid-back New York block aesthetic, popularized in New York by street culture, where people hang out on stoops and kick-it, vibing to music, smoking, and drinking. The video for “Always,” featuring Larry June, follow this format and was very important to Jay Worthy, according to Complex Magazine, said:

“This video is special to me cause it was shot in the south Bronx the Mecca of this rap shit where it all started brought me back to the days of wild style and style wars. Being from the west coast, this shit seemed so foreign like one day we gonna go to New York but now we here and fully tapped in street legend shit.”

The hip-hop duo, LNDN DRGS, have collaborated on a total of six full-length projects, including two collaborative albums, one with Odd Futures’ Left Brain titled Brain On Drgs, the other project, Umbrella Symphony, with Curren$y. Their new record, Burnout 4, follows their last project, Affiliated, released in 2019, with features including, Problem, Casey Veggies, Iamsu, and more.
