DMV artist Rico Nasty has lit 2020 on fire so far with songs like “IPHONE,” “Aqui Yo Mando” with Kali Uchis, placements on the new Scooby-Doo movie Scoob! and season four of Issa Rae’s hit show Insecure. Now, she’s back with another hot track called “Don’t Like Me,” which is out now everywhere.

Don’t Like Me” featuring Gucci Mane and Don Toliver is one of three songs Rico has released that are slated to appear on her debut studio album, Nightmare Vacation. The album is set to drop on October 30th and is chock full of high-profile collaborators including Trippie Redd and Aminé, as well as multi-platinum producers Buddah Bless, Take a Day Trip and Tay Keith. Nightmare Vacation was described by music journalist Kyann-Sian Williams as her typical “sugar trap” style but “on steroids.” “Don’t Like Me” is a prime example of this description.

The Buddah Bless-produced record pairs a shimmery yet hard-hitting instrumental with a sing-songy flow and braggadocious lyrics about haters not liking Rico and not being able to handle her expensive jewelry. Don Toliver and the “Smack A Bitch” rapper trade punches on the song’s hook while Gucci Mane delivers a confident verse detailing his extravagant lifestyle.
