Here’s the 5 best things about the albums
At last, Drake has returned with some new music and it’s the most he’s ever dropped at once. To further emphasize, we received a whopping three albums with a combined run-time of two and a half hours.
With so much to unpack, Remixd Mag is here to give you the best highlights!
Breakup to Makeup
Up until now, it was well understood that Future had friction with Drake based on ‘We Don’t Like You.’ Historically speaking, when this duo is together, magic is usually made. The truth is, their split saddened the rap community as they consistently brought the best out of each other. Given this context, their reunion on “Ran to Atlanta” feels warranted, after all they’ve been through.
Future my goat but he a groupie nigga stands for nothing lol.

Ear To The Streets
Across the board, one of the most polarizing decisions Drake could’ve made is the inclusion of non-mainstream artists. As it appears, he went all out to support rising female artists that the general public likely had no prior knowledge of. At face value, this speaks volumes to his character as the some of the featured artists such as Molly Santana and Stunna Sandy who both have less than 500K monthly listeners.
Drake went all out supporting small female artists on his three albums.

– Qendresa, 900,000 monthly listeners.
– Iconic Savvy, 50,000 monthly listeners.
– Stunna Sandy, 336,000 monthly listeners.
– Molly Santana, 500,000 monthly listeners.

Lost Without You: Noah ‘40’ Shebib
From beginning to end, 40 has always been by Drake’s side and silently co-piloting his every music move. In tandem, they were easily one of the best artist-recording engineer duos that have ever existed. However, this trio of albums would mark their first time in forever not consistently working together exclusively. In perspective, his presence/influence was certainly missed and preventing this from being an undisputed classic.
IceMan is fine but still well behind his peak. You can tell he's losing his ability to find new flows. Habibi is depressing cause it has the old 40 sound but current Drake can't do anything with it. I think Maid of Honor is gonna be a smash once summer hits in full. https://t.co/Tx6AQe1yEI

Be Like Mike
Taking a closer look at the cover for ‘Iceman,’ it’s very apparent he was paying homage to MJ. Due to the fact that he actually purchased his previously-worn, we have to discuss the hidden symbolism. Currently, Drake is on pace to surpass MJ for the most Hot 100 No. 1s by a male artist. On a deeper level, records are meant to be broken, and this achievement should be a celebration for all music lovers. More importantly, this is something that should be celebrated due to the fact that it came from another black artist.
Drake’s “Make Them Cry” is currently aiming for a #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 based on first day numbers 📊

It would mark Drake’s 14th credited #1 single, which would break his tie with Michael Jackson for the most Hot 100 No. 1s by a male solo artist. pic.twitter.com/QdvtsZFklc
Forever Beefing
Lastly, our final takeaway has to be Drake addressing the elephant in the room with his beef with Kendrick Lamar. In totality, he made multiple subtle jabs that made it known these two will never be cordial again. At face value, it’s obvious that Drake feels a way, but, conveniently, he never mentions the lawsuit in-depth involving “Not Like Us.” Reassessing the situation, how could he fail to properly defend himsely by choosing the legal route in his most popular beef ever.
I mean where do we go from here, Kendrick don’t need to respond because Drake just gon add it to the lawsuit so it’s pointless lol
