New Music Friday Picks
Lil Baby – FRESH (Album)
Atlanta’s Lil Baby leads the week with FRESH, a 17-track album that keeps his melodic street style at the center. Features include Future, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez, and the rollout pairs the project with a “Mr. Do Something” video. Lead single “Dead Fresh” already put the campaign on radio and has set the tone for this next run for Lil Baby. If you’ve been waiting for a full project after his singles run, this one is for you.
Jack Harlow – Sweet Action II (EP)
Six years after the original Sweet Action, Louisville’s Jack Harlow is back with Sweet Action II. The seven-song EP revisits that playful early lane with a more grown take on romance and freedom. Babyface shows up on “TOO SOON,” and the tracklist runs through “SIGNORA,” “SHE GETS ME,” “610 MAGNOLIA,” “HOLD BACK,” “PRESSURE” and “MOVE ON.” Billboard notes the project as his second release of 2026 and a deliberate sequel to the 2020 EP that helped introduce him.

B2K – ECLIPSE (Album)
Omarion, J-Boog, Raz-B and Lil Fizz are back together on ECLIPSE, B2K’s first studio album since Pandemonium! in 2002. The 12-track set reconnects with early-2000s R&B harmony while updating the grooves, with songs including “Mileage,” “Lil Freak” and “Boyfriend” featuring Bow Wow. For fans who grew up on the group, this is the reunion project they have been asking for. Check it out below.
Statik Selektah – Expensive Taste (Album)
Producer and DJ Statik Selektah drops Expensive Taste, an all-Statik-produced album stacked with East Coast and underground heavyweights. The guest list includes Busta Rhymes, Westside Gunn, Joey Bada$$, Raekwon, Killer Mike, Freddie Gibbs, Cordae, Stove God Cooks and Ab-Soul, with lead singles “The Louvre” and “Champagne Wishes” setting the tone. If you liked last week’s boom-bap and feature-heavy picks in our October 30 New Music Friday, this one continues that lane.
Curren$y & Harry Fraud – Off To The Races (Album)
Curren$y and Harry Fraud reunite on Off To The Races, a 10-track album built on Fraud’s airy drums and Spitta’s signature storytelling. Features include Wiz Khalifa, Rome Streetz, Fendi P and Bruiser Wolf. It’s the opposite of a radio rush. Instead, it can be described as atmospheric, consistent and made for people who want chemistry between rapper and producer more than a viral hook. The key word here is: substance.
